I am not fan of Wards style but the guy is going to win, he uses tactics that he can get away with, and Kovalev is not going to be able to do anything he can talk this bone breaking hand breaking garbage but I just laugh. Kovalev is going to come in all tired watch and he wont throw many punches like he used too, its going to be one of those boring tactical fights and that will be the last we hear of Kovalev.

He is talking big but he knows he is washed up, watch Kovalevs last 3 fights, he looks like a tired old man.

Ward looks the same to me, basic point fighting style safety first but he still wins.

Kovalev and his coach are talking it up trying the mental warfare thats when you know a trainer has fear. John David Jackson claiming Ward is past prime, is a deflection tactic because it was Kovalev who looked like a fighter past his prime, Jackson just exposed himself similar to Freddie Roach, John David Jackson, Freddie Roach and Abel Sanchez all use the similar style delusional trash talk that bites them in the butt.

Only a fool will bet on Kovalev to win, this is an easy fight to predict.

I don't know about washed up...but this is definitely being overlooked. It seems like he doesn't move as well and doesn't pull the trigger like he used to. Him and ggg are both at that age where all bets are off imo. The phrase "getting old overnight" isn't just for novelty. That being said...ward is no spring chicken either. Sometimes you get a better fight when 1 or both guys had slowed down a bit...let's hope that's the case here.

Dude B hop let Kovalev win, he sacrificed himself to try and steal Kovalev Away from Duva but it didnt work. B hop could have easily won, he lost on purpose, he took aall Kovalev shots, that was a fluke win by Kovalev.

I've already given several assessments of the fight. Ward surprise him with his physical strength and have the edge inside. Kov is best at mid and long range but Ward is the most elusive fighter today at 160 and up. Its hard to land more than 1 clean shot on him at a time

Kovalev, is often off balance and his footwork gets sloppy. Ward controls range better than any fighter in the game, he changes levels, and he throws counters off his blocks, pivots and slips

imo the only way Kov can win is by ko because I don't see him winning enough rounds to get a Decision

boxing is simple. if you land at a higher percentage and get hit considerably less, 9/10 you win barring a ko

Kovalev is a complete boxer puncher but he is a one punch ko artist like Stevenson who has the one punch ko snap. Kov is a sharp puncher with good technique but he needs room, the proper distance and he also has to break down his better opposition

I don't see him being able to land enough or control the pace to take the play away from Ward

the fight will be competitive, I just see Wards boxing ability and underrated strength seeing him through

Ward had mediocre power at 168, he simply lacks the power at LH to keep Kovalev at bay for 12 rounds.
