Amir Khan's Nightmare, just another punch for GGG

Khan had it worse, Canelo stepped forward with the jab and had better leverage to land the right hand. Khan was also closer to Canelo so he felt the full brunt of the punch.
Against GGG it was a counter overhand right which had less leverage, he was also further away from GGG and GGG also turned his cheek to roll the punch off. A testament to GGGs underrated defence and an exploitation of Khans.

You can clearly see, Canelo punched through Khan. He didn't full connect on GGG and GGG rolled it. Then you take into account that Khan was 158lbs and canelo was probably 175lbs. GGG would have been slightly less or the same weight as canelo.

It was a totally different impact for that punch.. It didn't catch GGG anywhere near as square and as clean as it caught Khan. GGG saw the punch coming and started moving his head before it even landed so it practically grazed his chin whereas Khan was squared up and moved into the punch taking the full force of the shot. Totally different scenarios.

that punch would floor most men below that weight class, its a brutal punch, but GGG is clearly a bigger guy than Canelo.
but khan was standing still, he didnt see it coming, ggg saw it thus he turned his head, but it still landed flush
would like to see how ggg fairs a weight class above and if that chins till holds upLast edited by FrankieBruno; 09-19-2017, 09:14 AM.
