It's less of a push and more of body control. Has he pushed off with it with before but when your elbow is pressed against someone you can keep them off balance an control where they go and put them where you want them to be. I've used it in sparring and street fights works like a charm. Lol dirty yes but what's not dirty about punching someone for a living people on here kill me with whining about this **** like its morally wrong were all watching a sport where people get beat on if things that happen in a fight bother you don't watch it. If your okay with people being put to sleep near death then you should be okay with a few forearms elbows occasional low blows and head butts it happens is it always right no but it's a fight. If it happens to you man up and get em back don't whine tho.

Illegal yes. But they're those ones that just skirt one being within the rules because while they're certainly there, and illegal, they're not big fouls like a low blow or headbutt. It's more like pushing, where some refs will stop and penalise it and others won't.

They should be penalised but a fighter will just keep doing what he can get away with. Any fighter that is. Floyd, Mares, Hatton, Hopkins, Ward, Corrales....all fighters do **** like this. Floyds is part of his defensive game and he uses it a lot though.

Cortez ****ing sucks. Glad that **** retired so we don't have to watch any more of his inept ******ed antics. He started thinking he was as important as the fighters and actually was part of the fight. ****.

so brotha please, you got no idea what you talking about stick to just creating threads off what people tweets.
lol. Look who's picking and choosing the illegal tactic. Its part of the sport.

Pushing, shoving, elbows, low blows. clinches. If you don't like it you can watch a new sport friendo.

British boxers in general are notoriously know for punching in the back of the head and ive never heard anyone complain

I certainly agree on Mayweather getting away with far too much. However I don´t blame Mayweather, he will continue to do it unless the referees start penalizing him for it. Joe Cortez´ performance in the Hatton fight was horrible.

If the question is if its illegal than the answer is unequivocally yes

Not to mention all the other bull**** advantages he uses to his advantage(PEDS, Xylocaine, Al haymon)

                  "if you don't cheat, you're a pussy

This is literally what all Mayweather/Broner fans believe.

These are the same fans that said "Ortiz deserve that hes a cheat and dirty"

This is BS. He doesn't throw his elbows like a Muay Thai fighter. U uses them to block and measure punches.

Rubbing heads, standing on a fighters foot, spoiling aren't strictly legal but the are apart of and tactics used in boxing.

This is the hurt business FFS.

Some of the criticism levelled at FLoyd is justified but this is just clutching at straws. If you've ever boxed, even at a basic level, you'll begin too understand how skilled this fighter really is.

No, but what are they gonna do? The powers that be would have the offending ref stuffed in a wood chipper if he interfered with one of these big PPV events over a few elbows.

Mayweather needs that cheating stuff sometimes to keep his edge.
