GGG fought Geale at 160. Cotto made him drain himself after he was damaged goods. You're smart enough to see the difference. Of course Ward was going to take a tune up. But they lost a spit load of money considering Ward's hefty guarantee.

I don't hate Roc Nation. It would probably be good for boxing if they did well and make good fights. But so far they seem to have no clear path to success, although the revenue for Cotto's next fight will help. Of course if Cotto gets beat up and that faucet is tapped they'll be in even worse shape.

There is nothing wrong with "poaching" talent, they do it in the NFL when a guy is a free agent and another team offers him more money. Why the big issue in boxing?
You can't poach another team's player when he's under contract to a team.

That's like the Cowboys going to Tom Brady and offering him $21 million to sit out the season with Patriots.

It's called interference with contract. RocNation offered money to another promoter's fighter to get him to turn down a fight he had already accepted.

Then didn't pay the fighter a penny after the fighter walked away from the fight.

That sums it up nicely. It is the most basic elements of contract law. Not to mention right and wrong.

And they've "poached" one guy allegedly. They haven't responded, maybe Star is full of ****. Maybe Andrade lied to Rocnation about his contract status. Lots of variables at play here. And well... Haymon, Oscar and Arum have all been sued for the same thing at some point... They suck too right?

Who is a good promoter and how is boxing relevant at this point with such terrible promoters. All poaching and stealing talent...

Andrade and his management team really are a shambles. His career just looks like a catalogue of mistakes, probably borne out of pure greed.

If Star Boxing & Banner Boxing's claims have merit then Roc-Nation certainly look like a pretty shabby organization.
