So I've got a fair bit of viewing for the next year or so!
Surprised their is no Wong Kar-Wai / Hong Kong New Wave to my knowledge at least.

At first I thought it was in order of preference. I was going to say "if I ever decide that a DW Griffith film is my favourite of all time, please kill me".

I don't understand the inclusion of The Charge of the Light Brigade, Zulu is far better.

I bet if he'd lived to see them, Kurosawa would have included The Hangover Part II and The Interview.

But thanks for that, Laddie, I've only seen 18 of them, so I need to do work. (I bet Jarmusch must have been thrilled to get in there).

Actually (as I'm sure you're aware and were alluding to) Lucas and Spielberg helping fund his later movies IS a bit of a slap in the face, ain't it?

It's only fair that Lucas funded his later movies has he did basically steal his earlier ones!

Well, he did pick the best one out of "The Film School Generation" for inclusion on his list: Francis Ford Coppola

I'd call it good taste, not a snub.

You rate Coppola over the legendary director of Howard the Duck and Star Wars Epidode I, the Phantom Menace?
