sounds like he did his job and he’s out. Especially being that churchhill is controlling the shots and likely will take him to another promoter in less than a year when his contract is up.

What do you think about this? Looks like the most secure gig in American boxing:

The streaming service is important for boxing fans, because Top Rank has made a long-term commitment to ESPN, and quietly inked an extension to its deal recently. Top Rank is one of the three major promoters in the world and if much of its content is going onto ESPN+, the health of the service should matter to fans. The deal calls for 30 shows a year, 18 on ESPN and 12 on ESPN+, and now extends through 2025.

The question going into the Pacquiao-Matthysse fight is whether the bout can do for the streaming service what the Pacquiao-Horn fight did for boxing on ESPN.

how is this even an argument?

Top rank is the better promoter.

Hard to say. He's a very talented kid and a lot of guys are after him. Ultimately he's either going to be with Haymon and/or a Haymon promoter, or he's going to be with Arum. Really only two choices in US boxing going forward, with maybe DAZN playing third fiddle as HBO is finally put out of its misery.

SHO is spending more than ESPN and Haymon is paying more than Arum. PBC is the most secure gig in American boxing. Top Rank #2. DAZN looking to become #3 to replace HBO. We'll see what happens.

sho isn’t even doing 20 shows a year excluding shobox. Crawford just made 3 mil and We shall see what Pac made. Sho isn’t paying as much as your saying. Plus there is no security through 2025 like on ESPN.

But there are dozens of guys making serious money. On ESPN, there is a small handful of guys making serious money.

So funny how you ignore Crawford's filed purse, but Wilder's filed purse is what we're supposed to go by right?

ESPN isn't spending a lot of money, which is why they're happy to extend. The only US network actually spending a lot of money on boxing is Showtime. Arum has a few stars. Haymon has dozens. There's no comparison right now.

As for Pacquiao, he's a free agent and currently negotiating with Mayweather Promotions.

I was just talking to the head of Showtime Sports on Twitter. Stephen Espinoza says he just signed an exclusive deal with Al Haymon. They are promising unlimited cards per year through 2026 worth a total of 146 Billion Dollars. He proposes that the events will become so huge, that the gravitational forces will cause the ring to collapse into a singularity in which no boxers or light can escape.

Oh wait. I take that all back. I got a tiny feeling I was talking to the fake twitter Stephen Espinoza.

with Mayweather? Lmaoooo. The same promoter Mickey Bey, Saul Rodriguez, Lionel thomspon and Ashley Theophane left? He same promoter Tank and Josue vargas are begging to leave lmaoooo?

Manny can do his own shows better than floyd does his promotional company.

Your boy Beterbiev even left Haymon for the co promo with Hearn.

Showtime without a doubt is killing it the past few years but things can change fast. They could be out of the boxing business in a couple years. We can’t say for sure.

Espn guys are getting paid better than u think but a lot do those guys are still building up and aren’t established like Loma and Crawford. Hell a guy like Jose Ramirez was making 6 figures for 6 round fights because he sells so many tickets. Verdejo was making bank too. Each case is different. But what is a fact is Espn has 30 dates a year for the next 7 years so their guys are guaranteed activity. No other promoter can say that.

The same promoter who promoted the two biggest PPVs of all time. The same promoter Pacquiao desperately wants a rematch against. The only fighter on the planet Pacquiao can fight to make enough money to pay his IRS debts. Yes, that promoter.

Manny can do his own shows better than floyd does his promotional company.
Thank you for your uneducated amateur opinion. However, Floyd can offer one thing nobody else can: a fight against Floyd.

My boy? You realize I couldn't care less about any of these fighters right?

Yes, things can change fast. For instance, UFC could offer Haymon a lot of money and he could take his entire stable to their new boxing organization.

Lol dude the budgets on most of these ESPN shows are anemic.

Top Rank has a few stars, that's it. And ESPN isn't even paying enough to cover those shows. Top Rank is losing money every time one of their big names fights on ESPN. As much as you guys **** on Haymon, Arum essentially copied his business model, finding a hedge fund to cover losses while Arum tries to build his stable.

Floyd didn’t promote those shows lol. Haymon and toprank did One and Haymon and ufc the other. MP runs a circus show. Has fights fall out all the time
