Brooklyn picks Mall over Jacobs so what you talking about? Mall asked Jacobs to fight him instead of suleki when they were face to face so again what are you talking about?

Did they not believe that fight would do huge numbers? Then he fought Canelo, kudos but the problem is Canelo isn’t concussing guys at the weight. What he recently did was avoid his Mandy a guy he had trouble with in the amateurs in Derevyanchenko and brought up Vanes a 154 lb fighter, coming off a 24 month layoff, a loss and only gave him 2.5 weeks to train. We call that concussion for hire. So why are we celebrating what we knew would happen. In boxings history, champions fight top level guys and occasionally get tune ups. GGG fights small guys and bums and occasionally fights a real contender. What’s even worst is every time he does he mysteriously looks very beatable. Not a GGG hater just want to see the best fights. Tired of this BS. 20 defenses who has GGG fought?
To be fair, take arguably the 1 p4p boxer of all time in sugar ray Robinson, check out his resume. The fulmer’s, turpine’s, lamotta’s, and Galivan’s are spaced out. That’s not to take away anything from SRR since he’s probably one of the most complete boxers in history. But to say that past champions mostly fought high level opponents and a few tune ups is disingenuous. For some one with over 100 fights, everyone and their mother would have to be a high level fighter to fulfill your criteria. For god sakes look at the most revered Mexican boxer in Julio Cesar Chavez, who in his first 87 fights were exceptional?

Please keep in mind I’m not comparing an atg like srr to ggg. But for some reason everybody holds ggg to a higher standard for some reason, he did the best he could given the weak division he has dominated for the past 5 years. The last couple months of criticism following the clen scandal is occurring during the twilight of his career, it should be understandable he wants to do sound business since his earning window has been greatly diminished.

All this ggg dialogue aside, a Charlo/Jacobs fight would be great. Especially from a narrative perspective, to crown the king of Brooklyn. I think the styles make an excellent matchup, two athletic big boxer punchers could be a fight of the year candidate.

Why? I'd *like* to see it, but the fight doesn't *need* to happen because beating Jermall doesn't prove anything. Charlo's beaten Heiland and Centeno. He's the new MW boogie man now that GGG's Lara problems suddenly disappeared.

Maybe the fight *needs* to happen in the minds of the GGG haters that post on every article written about OG. That segment can keep their OCD.

Sorry bro, you can’t look at the soft touches everyone has and access GGG deficits. Where GGG doesn’t past the litmus test is in top competition.

Analyze the top talent Robinson did fight verses who GGG fought that was a top fighter. Do the same thing with Roy Jones, Hopkins, Calzaghe, Martinez, Wright, Taylor, Pavlik, Hagler, etc... The guy literally fought two real threats. Jacobs is one and Alvarez is the second. Both of those fights it’s questionable as to whether he won. No body is misjudging GGG whether warranted or not his handlers built this reputation for him.
