  • Bob Arum and Eddie Hearn never let their big name fighters fight on other networks

All the PBC haters have pointed out the Hooker v. Ramirez fight as evidence that Matchroom and Top Rank are working together and that Al Haymon is is bad for the sport. But if you delve in a bit deeper, you’ll notice that Maurice Hooker and Jose Ramirez are NOBODIES. Nobody knew them and no one cared about their fight. Their pre-fight build ups were getting no traction or buzz, I’m talking the press conferences, the weigh-ins and the interviews were getting 1-2k views per video.

On the night of the fight, Gervonta Davis was the one with the sell out crowd, Gervonta Davis was the one trending on Twitter and YouTube. Gervonta Davis was the one getting posted on Worldstar, Sports Center, Bleacher Report and House of Highlights. Gervonta Davis was the one getting all the post fight media attention, FightHype and ESNEWS didn’t even bother cover Jose Ramirez fight.

At the end of the day, Eddie Hearn will never send AJ to fight on ESPN and Bob Arum will never send Bud or Loma to fight on DAZN. FACTS!

LMAOOO Jose Ramirez doesn’t sell shlt outside of his hometown. He did 4K in New York and 6k in Dallas. The guy is not a big name at all, nobody knows him or cares about him and I know you saw all those empty seats in the Hooker fight. On top of that, tickets to his fights are CHEAP AF.

When will Arum let Loma and Bud fight outside of ESPN? When will Hearn let AJ fight outside of SkySports?

That was a real 50-50 fight, not a so-called ppv superstar against an Uber driver,.... FACTS!

LOL @ Big name. Jose Ramirez vs Amir Imam averaged around 400k views on ESPN, Jose Ramirez vs Jose Zepeda averaged around 600k views on ESPN. This proves Jose Ramirez is relatively unknown and not many boxing fans are keeping an eye on him. He might sell tickets in his hometown, but outside of that, not so much. His fight with Hooker had less than 7k fans in attendance, empty seats everywhere DURING the fight. After the fight, his post fight interviews on YouTube barely got any views. Jose Ramirez simply isn’t well known to boxing fans, he can’t sell tickets outside of his hometown, did bad numbers on national television and his fight with Maurice Hooker wasn’t a big money fight. That’s why Bob Arum was willing to let him cross the street, same way Al Haymon let’s his less significant fighters cross the street.

When has Bob Arum ever let his big name fighters Lomachenko and Crawford, who bring in all the views and all the money, fight outside of ESPN/ESPN+ ?

I already posted receipts on Ramirez gate sales. Love Ramirez, but those gate sales were absolutely disgusting.

Both Charlo's out sold that by a good margin last fight, especially Jermall fighting in Houston.
