Ok abuse out the way, GGG is the fuxing champion, undefeated, long reigning, multi belts , he's the man. This is a sport right?
Gingerwinkle is ducking by not giving the champ a closer split. Either he wants to be world champion or he wants to milk the public like he did at 155lbs gingerweight fighting little guys and dehydrated guys while his boss's now worthless rag crowned him "Ring" middleweight champ hahaha

If Canelo tends on staying at 160 he's doing nothing but setting himself up for another L sure he can beat Spike or Lemieux but when it comes to Jacobs, Charlo, Saunders these guys are naturally to big for Canelo he's just a blown up JMW at 160.
Canelo best bet with that new slimer frame is to try and get back down to 154 imo there's still good interesting fights for him there. Brook, 154pd Charlo, Spence can move up, Hurd, Munguia, J-rock these fighters are more Canelo size

How anyone follows Clenelo and his team is beyond me. He is the most entitled pampered boxer in boxing and thinks he is more than he is. His own fan base booed him after the first GGG fight. That’s says a lot.
I think GGG should just move on.
Who will be Stall's next opponent? Why was GBP already lining up Spike for Canelo's next fight; win or lose vs GGG if the rematch actually would have happened? Yet some think that now suddenly he'll pick a tougher opponent? If Canelo is putting off the rematch another year waiting for Golovkin to get even older, then why would Canelo risk a loss against one of the top contenders? Some already forgot all the boo birds when the scores were announced & even more in GGG's last fight. Stall's going to have to play the heel now.
Let's not forget that Canelo's pocket book will take a big hit here too. Spike won't be able to draw PPV numbers, people want good match-ups so GBP is really stuck in a tough spot here. Either try to compromise with Golovkin or take a lay up. The 50/50 claim is just negotiation tactic & am sure they'd end up taking less. Took 30% last time after waiting 2 years ffs.
A lot of risk against Charlo & Jacobs and not nearly the same name recognition or all the bad blood that would help sell the rematch. Saunders also is tough style for Canelo, but don't think there's enough time to line him up. Oscar keeps saying they need 3 months to build a fight properly & BJS doesn't fight Murray until late June, plus they'd still have to negotiate. Doubt we see Saunders in the ring again until late fall/winter.
So GBP is looking at huge revenue losses for this year, not just Golovkin. Who cares what they make, I just want good fights & know at least one fighter will pursue them if given the proper time.Last edited by S7V7N; 05-28-2018, 01:03 AM.

Why doesn't the trainer and promoter of Triple G string let him talk he's like a kindergarten kid with his mama protecting him from a bully. But for a good reason in their first fight Triple G was all lumped up. And whoever saw that fight knows that there was no power punches from Triple G string he looked weak.
