Cotto and Mayweather - two guys who have been destined to fight each other for a while now
Marquez and Pacman - two guys who have given two great fights and are forever linked, yet chasing each other in the ranks
All men looking to enhance their already stellar careers.
If Pacman and Marquez win...wow...would be the thought...
These two, once smaller, linked fighters would have beat two of the best WW's in boxing today to setup a 3rd fight. Cotto and Mayweather would somewhat be humiliated by fighters who would then be considered greater than them.
If Cotto and Mayweather win...then "ok"...would be the thought...
They were the bigger guys and after the "retirement" and Margarito TKO in the past, their date with destiny vs each other would be rekindled.
I like the idea of Cotto and Mayweather winning...we'd get the meaningful WW fight we want. And Pacman and Marquez would get props at trying their move up...and could look to each other to rekindle their rivalry.
