Last great payday Rigo saw was his 750k against Donaire. Realistically, Rigo took about 350K after taxes and camp fees, plus the orgs down the line eating fees for his straps...
We all know Loma said Rigo Is the "King At His Weight," so therefore you wonder why Loma and Dad never agreed to 124 when they were at Featherweight. I think it would've been competitive as at Featherweight Loma struggles with power...GRJ, Salido, coming from Lightweight 132lbs in the Olympics to 126 in the pros. Therefore at 124 was a risk.
Then when Loma rises to 130 supposedly 126 is offered...if that's the case, and Loma and his fans are certain it's the same outcome, then why wasn't the fight offered at 126 or a catchweight again?
The answer was 400k at 130 or no fight. Rigo would take 200k when it's all said in then. That's not too bad for a fighter in Rigo''s position. Rigo coasted the fight as best as he could not getting hit and took the 200k like a walk in the park. At best his hand was murked by his own doing, but as others pointed out which was obvious, Rigo wasnt getting lit up, rather Loma was just running around a smaller guy that gives the perception of looking good without landing, as JCC said to ESPN "clowning aroud" with unecessary movement to look good...again, against a Super Bantamweight...when Floyd goes for broke to clown walking down a bigger man in Conor...
Why would Loma feel the need to fight as he normally does? Why couldn't Loma just walk Rigo down?
Now Rigo has enough cash to pay fees in the orgs to start fresh, at 122-126.
I think both parties thought of this idea to be fair.
People seem to forget, both fighters lost the 0. Seems fair...
