Spencer has the right to say whatever he wants

But the issue is that now every time he shows up somewhere trouble is guaranteed to follow - from both sides of the political spectrum.

And on top of that, it's a huge liability to the hosts who cannot legally deny him. The University of Florida spent over $600,000 on security for this event.

But folks believe that denying him the privilege to host an event on campus is a free speech issue. And so they will continue to force universities across the country to bend over to violence inciting hate speech that costs them a boatload, all of which gets pushed back down to the students (and in the case of state subsidized schools like UF, the tax payers) who for the most part aren't interested in attending or hearing what he has to say.

Yea. Why should they have to pay to protect him giving a speech which he was paid for? They should start making the people hosting these events pay for it. Make them get insurance to cover costs of possible damage. Make them pay campus police. Not sure why UF is responsible for paying to protect him for a speech he was paid to deliver
