      Yes, he did.

"The San Francisco running back says he has struggled to sleep as a result of head injuries in his first season in the NFL.

In a wide-ranging interview with Triple M’s Grill Team, Hayne said he was shocked by the impact of hits in the NFL."

No they wouldn't. Soft ****s wouldn't have helmets or body armour

Americans really are dumb as ****

            Its true man.

Amatuers wearing head gear and 16 oz gloves sustain a whole lot more damage than the pro fighters.

Brutalness of the ABA's. Cant you see?!

It's a different game. Rugby I think however, you have to play a bit smarter in the way you tackle and you have to have more stamina definitely.

Also the Philadelphia Eagles punter is a former Rugby player in Australia or New Zealand and he's absolutely dwarfed by every other player on the field and gets lit up like nobody's business. Smaller, slower, and not as powerful.

It's whatever really but what I can say for sure is that every NFL player has played Rugby in some capacity but not every Rugby player has ever played Am. Football.

The closing speeds and size, power of NFL LB's and safeties in the modern era of the NFL is pretty fucking spectacular.

What the Euro's see as protection when it comes to helmets and shoulder pads actually does the opposite when it comes down to defensive players. If you have never played, you wouldn't understand the sense of invulnerability when it comes to putting them on. And that's at a Pop Warner/Midget/High School level. Linebackers and safeties becoming flying crash test dummies running full speed to make hits on RB's, TE's, and WR's.

This isn't to say that one is "tougher" than the other, but the forces generated by NFL hits are on a different level than Rugby.

Yeah keep dreaming, the best rugby players are one of the worst NFL players. If we gave any **** about Rugby, we'd dominate in it like we do every other sport we care about.

American Football as a game was shaped by commercials... its 2 to 7 seconds actions create utmost suspense and tension...

Rugby Football evolved towards fluid and exquisite constructed actions, which (sometimes) generate pure aesthetic experiences...

These sports emerged from very different cultural environments...
