Sure there have been white slaves. But no group has been enslaved the way Africans in the US where. Not in scope, magnitude or duration.

And it’s a damn shame that the confederate outlaws did this to blacks and nobody tried to stop it .Those Democrats being naughty like they like to be .And I’m not good on history so I assume there was a mass uprising by blacks where 350.000 or so were killed but they got their freedom.Or maybe the United States government fought and freed them after hundreds of thousand whites were killed.Nobody said America was perfect but look at the native Americans they weren’t thrown into slavery but were slaughtered by the thousands and the lucky ones were forced from their land and relocated.The black hill settlement was over a broken treaty /contract.Native Americans by the whole have never been paid for the loss of an entire country and the slaughter of their people.Life got better for blacks in this country as rights were wronged but the red man got left behind.

Interesting the native man is doing so good now that it’s a detriment to them. The advent of casinos is the issue. These tribes are making money over fists. So much so that members of the tribes get stipends. Some to the tune of 40k a month to do nothing. Just being a tribe member and they get the money. So with so much money without having to work for it many get sucked into drugs. Drugs gets them into the criminal system. Vicious cycle.

I would add indentured servitude is considered one of the many manifestations of slavery.

There has never been a monolithic model of slavery.

There certainly was an attempt to enslave natives. The problems with it was that the natives proved to be less resilient than Africans, mostly because of disease that they lacked immunity to, and also the natives knew the terrain which made it easier for them to run away and blend in with other populations.

And it wasn't just slavery, but there have been countless overt and covert policies and practices to ensure that African Americans remained in the same status quo post reconstruction... Some that still go on to this day and have went on for the past 80 years at least

Indeed. Many are regulated to ghettos and are expected to be strong enough to fight all the social aims of the ghettos and become middle class without issue.

Abraham Lincoln lead that charge and the majority of congress banned slavery.
