  • This Is Why You Need The Electoral College

So that 10 million people concentrated in a area the size of Rhode Island don't get to tell the rest of the country how to live.

If the democrats would loose the popular vote then they will say that the Electoral College is the way to go.

When somebody wins an election with the majority of the votes they still complain.

Simply the rules don't apply if the outcome is not what they expected or wanted

Aren't you the same one who wrote a topic complaining about liberals moving into traditionally red states?

The electoral college was designed to give small population states equalizing voting power. Back went it was made up. Politician never went to small populations states. Basically it was a cost benefit analysis. Go Where most voters are.

There was no internet or tv like we have to day. Messages can be made to people everywhere. A politician need not leave his state anymore to reach the entire country.

The electoral college is unnecessary today.

Liberal moving into traditionally red states on the coast benefits the electoral college for the middle red states.

Yeah. All the liberals wanna move to those states but they cede power to the Republicans in the states they leave. That's they have been complaining about the electoral colleges.

Should we get rid of the Senate, too?
