Unranked fighter hasn't fought in 3 years .. beats a cruuserweight and a HW both of whom are barely inside the top #150.. gets ranked number 5 by the WBC right in time for a fight against its champion.

    Not corrupt though..

Hearn did the same exact thing. Povetkin putting his mandatory status on the line against David Price. What had David Price done to earn a final eliminator? Hearn brainwashes you guys into being outraged by Breazeale being allowed to have a final eliminator even though Hearn did the same exact thing with David Price.

How is it the same? Povetkin actually fought in the damn fight. Stiverne didn't.

Not even close. You're either not paying attention or don't understand what's going on. The WBA and WBO are a million levels beyond anything the WBC is doing.

They actively go out of there way to shield Wilder from fighting tough mandatories.
That's a lie. Povetkin was his mandatory. Not Wilder's fault or the WBC's fault that Povetkin kept getting caught cheating.

Whyte and Ortiz were ordered to fight a final eliminator. Not Wilder's fault or the WBC's fault that Whyte pulled out once he found out Ortiz was the opponent.

Then look at the Adonis Stevenson situation what a complete joke!
Sergey Kovalev was the mandatory. That wasn't a tough mandatory? Not Stevenson's fault or the WBC's fault that Kovalev pulled out of the fight.

You can't say Eleider Alavarez wasn't a tough mandatory. He's had a string of high profile wins and just won a world title by knockout. Stevenson's team did use step aside agreements to delay the fight, but only because they controlled Stevenson and Alvarez and were hoping to save the fight for when it could be a much bigger deal.

Once Ortiz failed his test and Stiverne moved back to the main event, Breazeale already had a legally binding contract guaranteeing him a final eliminator. The WBC had no choice but to order him to fight the leading available contender. It wasn't a final eliminator for that contender, but it was for Breazeale.

Had Povetkin failed a drug test, David Price would have been legally entitled to a final eliminator against the leading available contender, not different than what happened with Breazeale.

Boxrec has Fury rated even higher than the WBC does, and Boxrec is ranking all the fighters in the world while the WBC is only ranking the fighters in the WBC.

              So Boxrec is corrupt?

They ****ed up. Stiverne put up his #1 contender status. Somehow Brezeale won it fighting someone else. That's pure bull****.
