Stylistically, who has a better chance against GGG, Canelo or Jacobs?

    tossup

Both Jacobs and Alvarez have no issue keeping in the pocket and fighting/catch-and-shooting on the inside, a realm that Golovkin is clearly uncomfortable fighting at.

Alvarez probably has the sturdier chin and better body work, but Jacobs is far more dynamic with his hands on the inside.

Golovkin doesn't walk through either guy, so it's good to know that he's finally stepping in the ring with a live body for once.

And pretty damn soundly. Canelos footwork is horrible, really bad. Got a feeling it will be canelo plodding after GGG and not the other way around. GGG is obviously nothing like floyd but just watch that fight and that shows how soundly canelo can be outboxed, is a really limited fighter in some ways. Just see a cautious and respectful ggg working behind that jab, the fight being really quite unevenftul to begin with, and canelo just gradually getting busted up.
Also ggg has quick feet. Canelo won't catch him.

canelo by far. if he survives he wins. no matter what happens. even if he loses almost every round floyd style he will win because this time he has the "slick boxer" label and ggg has the "this guy has to knock him out label" last time against floyd it was teh reverse

This guy don't know **** from supper.

Put Jacobs in with Canelito's comp and he'd get a manslaughter rap half-way thru his weak resume.

You gotta be trolling to say Danny has no inside game.

Canelo's so-called improvement since Floyd has more to do with weak comp than anything else

          Jacobs would literally kill Floyd.

A hard hitting agressive counter puncher who holds his ground and throws combinations..with good size, good chin, a vicious uppercut along with great body work in addition to elite boxing skills. All that in a fighter with great pride and will. Outside of that we have to think of a supremely skilled long range boxer with durability and a ton of speed who isnt afraid to make it "ugly" with clinches, etc. Lara and Andrade are probably the closest to that in that weight range but I'm not sure they have the durability.

Jacobs does have a lot of speed and is a massive puncher with good skills. Do not discount Jacobs' power because dude is sharp and powerful. Chinny...but he's not just live. If he can hurt GGG this is very very good. Lets see how GGG handles Jacob's power. Make no mistake about it this is a big fight and Jacobs is more than just a live dog (I love Jacobs so maybe I'm being biased or blind but whatever..)
            NONSENSE.

Canelo has ZERO experience fighting MIDDLWEIGHTS..

            ZERO..

The same guy that KO'd Jacobs could KO Alvarez at 160...get over that chin foolishness.

Canelo can't even hold the center of the ring.
ANYBODY can back him on the ropes.

Jacobs walks thru Canelo's resume like a petting Zoo.

He'd whip Mayweather while eating a hot dog.

Imagine what Jacobs would do to Cotto..that would be sad.

Canelo's body punching(left hook to da liva), counter punching & duck & move style(a bit of copied from Floyd imo), faints are good & will work against Golovkin who doesnt have a lot of head movement for my liking. But Canelo needs to cut-off the ring if he has to make it work for him throughout the fight..

It also depends on who is the aggressor & who is boxing & moving...
Based on what does he have a good chin? He's never fought a guy his size except Angulo who looked like a zombie.

                Stop trolling

Canelo has NEVER fought a true MW..and Cotto ain't that.

Jacobs has fought MW's his entire career while Canelo was slapping around over matched WW's and carefully picked Jr MW's.

This place attracts more crazy people than Area 51.

Canelo couldn't win a single round off Mayweather..
Jacobs would rag doll Floyd's lil ass.

Canelo just checks more boxes here. Canelo has been in big fights so he has that experience. He's been with heavy punchers and not only took the shots, but won. He's got marginally better defense, better chin, far better gameplanning, more complex variety of attack, better ring IQ.

They're around equal in hand speed. Equal in 1-punch KO ability.

Danny has better footwork, and he's taller.

Canelo needs to cut off the ring?? Since when does Golovkin run?

jacobs and canelo are different fighters. whats more likely jacobs being ko'd by ggg or canelo-ggg going to decision? i say canelo-ggg going to decision therefore he has a better chance since the judges will give him the fight for surviving. you will prob evven have people on here saying he deserved to win and did great body work(aka lowblows and holding and hitting) or ignore that ggg landed more, had him hurt, etc...this is boxing
