  • ROACH: "Teddy Atlas, tell Sergio to come down to 147 and we'll KTFO him!"

    ON TEDDY ATLAS:

Teddy Atlas discredits Manny on ESPN Friday Night Fight (first Friday after Manny won against shame Mosley). Teddy said that he’s not impressed with Manny at all, fought the dehydrated Oscar, the exposed Cotto, the Beerman Hatton, etc… if Manny is really great, why not fight Sergio Martinez? Let him climb weight class like Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, like Thomas Hearns did, like all great fighters did, said Teddy on live TV. I asked to myself, is Teddy only watching boxing every Friday (maybe he doesn’t have HBO or Showtime), does he know what happened outside Friday Night fights?... Roach answered, “Tell Teddy and let Teddy tell Sergio Martinez to fight Manny at 147 lbs and we’ll knock him out like Margarito did to him, and that is not a joke!”

funny how everyone pacs beat suddenly becomes damaged or exposed just to discredit him, totally pathetic from haters like atlas

ermm hello he hs already climbed weights to 147 that is his limit, he can't go any further without being at a massive disadvantage

That would be like Sergio calling out Hopkins at 154. What a joke and the sad thing is most of these casual fans eat stupid comments like this up.

This is just disgusting. It's getting to the point where Roach thinks it's now acceptable to drain fighters because the money is right. Ridiculous.

There's a reason why he's moved up to bigger and better fights. He doesn't need Pacquiao even if it'd be his biggest pay day of his career and the fact of the matter is that Martinez is just too strong and fast for Pacquiao to fight or even think about fighting.

He's in his prime and of course the only way to have the upper hand is to drain em. Here we go again..

Roach is right, it not like Pacquiao has been a natural welter all his boxing career like Hearns and Leonard.

If Pacquiao were to beat Martinez, then Atlas would say Pacquiao should fight Froch.

Trust me, any of the Top welters would knock Martinez out at 147, that isn't much of an accomplishment.

Why not meet at 154 like the Marg fight?
