  • Comments Thread For: Abel Sanchez Not Surprised Canelo Withstood Golovkin's Power

Abel Sanchez, the trainer for Gennady Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs), was not surprised with cement chin of Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Last Saturday night, Canelo and Golovkin took part in a middleweight classic where they waged war for twelve rounds at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Sorry Abel but you’re full of it. Before and after the first fight you said countless times that if Canelo traded he would get KO’d. You even Told GGG to knock him out after round 2 last Saturday

"The twelfth round was a pivotal round in this fight and two of the judges had it for Canelo. There’s a lot of dispute about what people think but the bottom line is, the three competent judges had Canelo winning by one round, and we have to accept the fact that that’s the decision."

What the fuck is up with Sanchez, seriously?

He’s been swallowing Canelo’s load since saturday, now.

GGG fans can't handle all the truth Sanchez throwing in their face. Must suck when GGG own trainer knows he lost the fight and is telling you je lost the fight but you just won't accept it. LMAO

Sounds like Abel could have been working with Team Canelo before the fight just like John David Jackson was helping Team Ward before the Kovalev fight. Some real suspicious **** going on in boxing these days. As if ruining GGG's physical condition with his outdated training location in high altitude was not enough, apparently not even willing to listen to experts on the subject or read about it himself, now Abel sounds like he's ready to jump ship to Canelo's team. GGG still proved he is the better fighter in both fights, even at age 36, but there's zero doubt who proved to have the better trainer, Eddie Reynoso is lightyears ahead of Abel.

It's amazing some people used to question his chin because he once wobbled in a fight when he was teen.
