So GGG ducked the “elite” competition in his prime, but fought them in mid-thirties?

GGG clearly ducks mandatory for Vanes and gets stripped... business move doe by GGG fans. 154-168lbs... unless you aren't a bum. But slurp away at the hype job... he's been exposed. He is a good fighter but not great like his bunboys hoped. Supposed ducks don't count for legacy especially when your resume is filled with 95%+ bums.
Canelo moved pretty much in a straight line to the ropes and covered up. Golovkin.moved back a step to avoid getting hit and then attacked or circled to get a better angle on Canelo. It's a huge difference.

Like ward not budging on Dawsons request of a catchweight.

Dawson called Ward out and said he could make 168 no problem.
Ward barely even gets credit for that win anyways, his resume is supported by wins like Kovalev x2, Barrera, Kessler, Abraham, Froch, etc.

Right. Ward held his ground to have his advantage.

When it came to Gennady and 164, G held his groudn did the same. Ward declined.

Dawson called Ward out, not the other way around. ggg, or at least his team, called Ward out.

Ward also sent the contract, they turned it down immediately.

Because Martinez didn't avoid him, and Cotto didn't dodge him, and Canelo didn't vacate to wait 2 years for him to get older. Felix Sturm didn't pay the WBA 300k to be elevated to super champion with a guarantee that he would not have to fulfill his mandatory obligations against GGG, and his own promoter never outed him for it publicly.

He also wasn't scheduled to face Pirog on August 25, 2012 after he flattened jacobs either, and that fight wasn't scrapped because Pirog suffered a career ending back injury.

            lol...

Its just funny how people trash a guys career without looking at the context.

So a fighter should just break the contract he just signed because ward sent one?

Who is going to pay for that?

Either way, you have double standards. Its only ok for the guy you like to get every possible advantage but not anyone else.

In the end, Ward declined a more than fair offer.

                It's all GGG's fault.

Not trying to be funny but whose fault is it he didn't fight an elite guy in his prime?

This was the guy who was yelling about 3 or 4 weightclasses yet only found his way to stay in one all that time?

Nothing wrong with staying in one weightclass BTW...except if you are constantly calling out guys from other weightclasses then finding a way not to fight them.

And the catchweight with Ward is bogus too.

Ward wasn't calling out Triple G, G was calling out Ward.

When Marquez called out Floyd he did it at the weight Floyd was at.

When Chad Dawson called out Ward, he went to Ward's weight.

Calling out a guy then forcing that person to drain themselves on top of that (as opposed to them agreeing to come down) is bogus.

G didn't fight elite guys in his prime because G didn't want to fight elite guys.

                  Period.

Martinez was a shot fighter after he tore his knee against Chavez, it ultimately lead to his retirement.

Cotto was too small for 160 and made Canelo fight him at 155, Canelo conceded to his demands.

Canelo fought at 154 1 year before fighting ggg twice and beating him.

Sturm was a paper champion, of course ggg chased him.

Pirog is the only legit excuse.

ggg called out everyone from 154 to 168 and did not budge, didn't move up or down a single division. Andre Ward, Pac, Mayweather, Bellew, Garcia, Broner, Hopkins, Canelo, Vlasov, Loma, etc. all these men have taken bigger risks than ggg ever has.

They not only turned down the contract, they said ggg would not be available until 2 years later. There was never any sort of renegotiation, they shut it down asap.

In the end Ward moved up to 175 defeating champions like Barrera & Kovalev twice. ggg? Lost to a guy with ZERO wins at 160.
