              stupid new school ******
Let's the only time Marquez has ever been on 1 mil PPV was vs who; how about Mosley neither Oscar fight did 1 mil. Cotto only went 1 mil vs who? Canelo? It's pure common sense two big names will do better numbers than a big name and a decent name but you lack that. Even there supposed flops are better than everybody else numbers. Floyd vs Maidana both times did better numbers than Canelo vs Cotto.

When the top two contenders face off in a division where the lineal championship is vacant, the winner fills that vacancy and becomes the lineal champ. Pretty simple stuff.

But respectfully, that is just YOUR opinion.

A number of the sanctioning bodies disagree, as do a number of insiders.

You used to have to prove lineage, by unifying major titles..... and yet, neither Bradley nor Pacquiao will fight the other contenders.

Not convinced that either of them can beat Brook, maybe..... but one of those fights is at least 50/50 imo.

Not convinced that either of them can beat Khan at this point, maybe..... not sure.

Not convinced that Thurman wouldn't land betsy against either fighter.

Even Bradley/Porter would be a great fight.

The last time I looked, The Ring didn't even have Bradley in their top 5.

There is no way you can categorically state that Pacquiao is the best welter on the planet...... and we wouldn't even be having this conversation if Mayweather hadn't retired.

TBRB ranks Stevenson as the best LHW, ahead of Kovalev..... and they rank Canelo as the best middleweight, over Golovkin..... not interested in those the-man-who-beat-the-man ratings, absurd really. Also, the TBRB currently ranks Bradley behind Brook.

IMHO, rating Pacquiao as the lineal welterweight champ is even weaker than rating him as a genuine JMW champion..... welterweight is the messiest division, there are so many unanswered questions at 147..... it likely has the highest talent pool of guys who simply do not seem to want to fight each other, unless they have to.
