If you say that then you also can't count Wlad as a good win either.

Sites like TBRB, Ring etc had Wlad ranked #2 when Joshua fought him.

Really? I didn’t see any of them rank Wlad since he had been inactive for almost 2 years, had no titles and had come off a loss. He was unranked everywhere that I remember. So post your proof that Wlad was ranked #2 when he fought AJ.

Ahead of the fight, Joshua was regarded as the 6th best heavyweight in the world by The Ring magazine, while Klitschko was 2nd behind The Ring champion Tyson Fury.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthon...o#cite_note-25

As of last month, Klitschko was not ranked in the top 15 under the WBC. He did hold a number 2 ranking under the WBA and a number 3 ranking under the IBF.

          You might have selective memory.

The only reason he would have been dropped is inactivity. Fury has had two fights and is not viewed as among the best anymore. In defeat to Joshua Wlad was given a #2 rating by WBC.

Wilder will get a lot of mentions for fighter of the year I'm thinking

Who da fuq cares? Wilder is fighting Fury and AJ is running out of legitimate opponents. They need to make it happen and Eddie Hearn needs to stop coming up with lame excuses and make a good deal that makes sense for both fighters. These petty arguments are nonsense. AJ fans are expecting an easy win for Wilder and are trying to discredit him before the match even happens. Lame.

Wlad didn't put on 10 stone and sniff so much coke that his voice changed

There will always be top 5 HW's for Joshua to fight. He doesn't need to cherry pick guys like Fury. He could have had that Fury fight anytime he wanted but knew he'd get little credit unless Fury fought legit comp first. That doesn't bother bum picker Wilder.
