I tell all young dudes the same thing, learn how to tape.

I've never once seen a contracting company do their own taping. Once you get good you can tape entire rooms in no time.

It would suck to do it full time, but if your good, you'll always have work, and you'll get paid well. You see carpenters, masons, painters, all looking for work, never see a taper looking for work.
