Soto tried to fight Pac, Marquez, MAB, Morales, Valero, Guerrero, and so many others , and they all ducked him.

Now, Maidana is also ducking him.

They're all scared to fight Soto.

Marquez ducked Soto many times since 2008.
JMM fought Soto's "leftovers"-Rocky Juarez, instead of fighting Soto.

last year, Soto tried to unify his WBC 135lbs belt with JMM's WBO/WBA 135lbs belts, but JMM chickened-out and fought Katsidis instead, a fighter that had lost to 2 of JMM's past beaten opponents (Juan Diaz, and Casamayor).

JMM is deathly scared to fight Soto, just like Pac is scared to fight Soto.
and now Maidana is too, scared of Soto.

if he's not fighting soto it's cuz he'll get more $ vs. morales or whatever.
I know Maidana is a tough fighter that takes on all comers, but he is clearly ducking Soto.

The "money issue" just doesnt fly, cause GBP always pays their fighters good.

Maidana reportedly "wasn’t happy with the money" offered to him for the fight. Maidana instead will take on his mandatory challenger Paul McCloskey, who recently defeated Breidis Prescott by a controversial 12 round decision in McCloskey’s home city of Belfast, Ireland.

McCloskey, who can’t punch, and isn’t as skilled as Soto, would seem to be the easier option for Maidana compared to Soto. Both fights are tough options for Maidana in different ways.

Soto has a lot more technical skills than Maidana and is a better inside fighter than him. It would come down to whether or not Maidana could knock him out, which is highly doubtful because Soto has a great chin.

I could see Maidana losing to Soto quite easily. McCloskey will make Maidana miss all night and cause him a lot of problems with his defense. However, if McCloskey goes after Maidana the way that he did against Prescott in the second part of his fight with him, Maidana will give McCloskey a beating.

Maidana is a lot more sturdy than Prescott, and there’s no way that McCloskey could attack Maidana the way he did Prescott without taking awful punishment.

McCloskey will have to literally run the entire 12 rounds to escape with any kind of win and even that would be a huge stretch because he won’t get a win outside of Ireland by running the entire fight.

McCloskey will have to take the fight to Maidana and that would be an insane move for him. Maidana will wreck McCloskey’s world if he tries to exchange with him.

                    Maidana is currentley DUCKING Soto.

I know Maidana is a tough fighter that fights anyone for whatever money is there, but he is clearly ducking Soto by "pricing himself out".

Maidana would rather fight McCloslky for less money in a less televised show, than fight Soto for more money in an HBO main event headliner.

Maidana is scared to fight Soto. Thats a fact.

Maidana isnt the only one scared to fight Soto.
Pacman is also scared of Soto and has ducked Soto for years, since 2006.
Marquez, Barrera, Valero, Guerrero, Lianres, Morales all have ducked Soto too.

He'd knows he'd get outboxed for a small purse, so he'd rather chase the fight where he'll get outboxed for a large purse (Khan). He'd also better not fight McCloskey, it would probably just go the same way McCloskey/Precott did. Or worse; McCloskey might even win most of the rounds.

Morales for the title or Khan for the money are his best bets now. He should have pulled out against the Russian to fight Erik, he'd have stopped the Morales that showed up on the Mayweather/Ortiz card
