When I was trying to think of a past heavyweight who was similar to Joshua I couldn't really think of anyone, he has flashes of different heavyweights but I think as a fighter he has the most in common with Felix Trinidad strangely.
The stance is the first similarity - they were both tall at their respective weights (WW version of Trinidad) but had more of a power boxing stance with their head forward almost over their front foot.
They are both lights out with either hand, although Trinidad was more left hook happy. Both of them because of the stance, were vulnerable to being hit, and both could be hurt and put down.
Good punch variety, good jab, both are pretty fast but not the fastest. They both have decent feet, but again not the fastest.
