  • Lets examine the momentum of Wilder's last 2 opponents

Stiverne was 38 years old, was never any good to begin with, and had one poor performance vs Rossy after the Wilder loss.....and was somehow the WBC mandatory!??? Why has Wilder got praise for beating this BUM again?

Ortiz looked good, 3 years ago! he hasn't had a "fight" since Jennings (a B level opponent any way), beat up TT, then fought Allen and Scott (looking terrible), takes a year off and comes back and fights for 200 seconds against some guy that was 2-3 in his last 5 fights and never threw a punch, and somehow this guy is STILL the boogeyman of the division??!!!

How can any one justify these opponents for a world title? why are the WBC sanctioning these fights? it's a disgrace to boxing, the HW division and the WBC belt!

Old, inactive bums and people are praising this as some step-up for Wilder......I can't.....

It is kinda ridiculous how Joseph Parker is apparently 'terrible' for close fights agaisnt takam and Ruiz as a developing prospect who was only a pro for a few years.

Yet Ortiz looked absolutely terrible against Malik Scott....who was desperately trying to quit (the reff wouldnt let him ) and has the worst chin in the entire division, went the distance and looked awful against journeyman dave allen & Ortiz gets a pass ?

    He a slick cuban doe

Charlie Z was a step up for Wilder. Ortiz may be past it and hasn't done much in a while but for Ortiz it represents the first opponent who may have a pulse.

I just can't wrap my head around how Wilder fans think this is ok, it's not like he's fighting legit ex-champions either, these guys have no good wins between them, are old and inactive. What are Ortiz and Stiverne's best wins? the fact is they are unproven and old

I do know Luis Ortiz is undefeated and never been outclassed or dominated ; Joey Parker has one L vs. Andy Ruiz ( unofficially ) , and arguably Hughie Fury ( another drug cheat btw ) but hes considered 'Good'.

Then you got Alexander Pedvetkin who got whooped on by Marco Huck a cruiserweight ( pathetic ) yet many here consider his abilities as 'elite', HA! just imagine what people would say if Deontay got humiliated and manhandled by Tony Bellew? but we give Alexander a pass for some reason...I don't know what that is exactly but whatever I don't want to be negative.

We come to Anthony Joshua, his best 'win' is semi-retired HOF coming off a loss ; who would of KO Anthony had he been 15 years younger or at least close to the end of his prime -- a name only that looks good on paper ; I am not convinced.

I think its clear upon review of the facts, that Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder will have the best resume at HW after he defeats the boogieman of the division, adding another top five HW UNDEFEATED avoided KO specialist in Luis Ortiz.

Ortiz would never come close to losing a fight with under sized slow footed plodder who walks forward in baby steps like Ruiz . The 6'4 84 inch reach Ortiz would crucify a guy like that . Jennings is not just better made for a HW division hes athletically built to at least go to different angles .

What you cant see is Ortiz hasnt even lost rounds to guys like Parker has fought but thats bc you wear fanboy glasses and that make being unbiased unrealistic ! lol

You would also know challengers almost always fight the champion harder if you understood the sport beyond you not understanding the fighters themselves along with that ,you wouldn't be lost .

Particularly an undefeated one whos actually better skilled and experienced combined than the champion which is rare . Ortiz is a top 3 guy ,he would clown Parker and Povetkin ,the only guys right now one can LEGITAMATLEY make a case for is Fury , Joshua and Wilder being favored over him .

What are you basing this on? A fight vs Jennings? you make bold predictions about Ortiz on your eye-test alone, he has never proven himself to be any where near Povetkin's level.

Ortiz looked good 3 years ago, now 3 years later, after fighting TT, Allen and Scott and looking like sheat, then taking a year off and coming back and fighting 200 seconds against my dad, you claim he is the No3 HW in the world!?

                You're a lunatic

Why you bringing Parker into this? he's 25 and will get better and has already tested himself against legit and active fighters like Ruiz and Takam, Fury and is away to fight Joshua in his hometown. Parker is at least in fights, close and legit fights, unlike Wilder!

Ortiz is unproven, inactive and 60 years old. Stop making him out to be a killer, he's beaten no one, the same as Wilder.
