    Bernard only ate like 2 clean right hands to the face in the entire fight, and his cheek was bruised and swollen after.

      He was still cautious though but Pavlik slowed down noticeably in the mid-rounds, probably because of fatigue and Hopkins catching him with shots consistently. So Pavlik's power may well have deteriorated as the fight went on, it's quite common in boxing. The more tired you get the less power on the punches.

        Ann Wolfe never struck me as a good trainer. She seems to be a fan of the Mark Breland training method ie overtrain until your fighter has nothing left for the ring.
