It's normal for a company to lose money when the release a new console. When the console is in living rooms and people are buying games is when the money starts coming in.

It's not the consoles fault the Playstation division will eventually start turning in good enough profits, but they have royally fked themselves in other divisions it's really sad they need to kill those tumors, and try something else.
