There are also other important reasons why the Electoral College is very important. Think about it, if someone cheated and had let say 10 million fake votes are ready to be counted in let say Texas or California, this will greatly effect the outcome of the election since it will now be by Popular vote. If this happens and there is an EC in place, it will only affect that State that cheated. Get it boys?
