Let's get the obvious out of the way.
Mayweather/Castillo 1. The fight most of you say was a robbery (I had it EXTREMELY close for Castillo, but nowhere near a robbery). Floyd said he hurt his shoulder the last day of training and it affected him in the fight. Based on his performance, there was clear evidence of this. So with a hurt shoulder the guy was able to clearly take AT LEAST 5 rounds off a healthy Castillo.
Mayweather/Pacquiao. You got Manny saying NOTHING about an injury, lied on a form saying he wasn't injured, gets caught trying to sneak a Torodol shot after saying he wasn't injured, goes on to win TWO rounds clearly against Floyd. I don't care what excuses you come up with. He won TWO clear rounds.
Now, why did Floyd do a rematch against Castillo? Because it WAS razor close. The only people who had Manny even close to beating Floyd are the people who ignore defensive brilliance and count punches on arms especially when it's Floyd. Manny won TWO clear rounds. 4 and 6. Everything else was a wash or a swing. The MOST you could give Manny as a logical viewer is 4 rounds - two of which were more about Floyd not turning it up because he didn't need to. Still not a close fight.
FOUR YEARS AFTER Manny wins two rounds against this guy, people are STILL screaming for a Floyd rematch. Even if you buy the excuse his shoulder was hurt, he didn't perform anywhere near like Floyd did against Castillo under the same circumstances. The guy didn't show up.
Let's quantify this.
YET....
So basically, if Manny wins, even if it's RAZOR CLOSE and disputed, you just want him to keep it moving, but when he loses - and he usually loses dominant (unanimous or knockout), it's not only an excuse, you just can't accept when superior boxers beat the guy. That makes you a hypocrite.
A rematch is warranted when you lose close because things aren't resolved. It's not warranted when you lose wide or get sparked. Certainly, Lennox Lewis was the exception, but those days are gone. Now, you need to show up the first time and if you let it go close, we need a rematch to know for sure.
Manny ducked the rematch with Horn, which was close. He's ducking the rematch with Thurman. Which makes no sense because he took the rematch with Bradley and sealed it perfectly with a dominant decision. I don't want to hear about age, you guys are saying "Manny's fighting like he's 30 again!" Okay, let him rematch like he's 30 again.
STOP asking for a Floyd rematch. The guy lost wide. You don't think so, but you're the minority. Everyone who knows boxing watched Money box circles around the guy for 10 rounds. It's over.
Manny has unfinished business with Horn and now Thurman that he should clean up first. THEN he needs to look at the Porter/Spence winner. THEN he needs to look at the Porter/Spence loser. THEN he needs to retire. That's all.

Let's quantify this.
- Manny clearly wins TWO rounds against Floyd = NSB screams for a rematch constantly for over FOUR YEARS and swears he had a hurt shoulder.
- Manny gets DROPPED and KNOCKED OUT COLD by Marquez in the 4th fight = NSB accuses Marquez of running from a flat out unnecessary rematch and swears he cheated.
YET....
- Manny wins a RAZOR CLOSE decision against Thurman = "meh, no need for rematch".
- Manny wins a RAZOR CLOSE decision against Bradley in the second fight = "meh, no need for a third".
- Manny LOSES a close unanimous decision against Horn = "meh, no need for rematch, Horn cheated".
