  • UFC cracks releases statement will issue PPV refunds

After getting destroyed for days on twitter, fans calling for boycotts, and a class act lawsuit coming out. The UFC finally cracked Dana White released official statement following showtime lead issuing refunds for those who bought the Mayweather PPV but saw nothing because the entire UFC.tv server crashed.

For real how they let it get to this point is pretty insane. They were flat out refusing to answer any emails to their support and even took their support phone number down. Dana White was in hiding they had to be dragged over coals kicking and screaming before they did the right thing. What some dirtbags the UFC is.

Going to cost them tens if not hundreds of millions. You figure if even just 100K of these streams were sold at $100 a pop that's 10M you have to refund. And I think there were far more then 100K cord cut PPVs sold on sat. The class act lawsuit and negativity this was doing to their brand why they finally threw in the towel.

Fight sold a lot of ppvs but a lot of that money is being refunded. Who's pocket it come out? Do the fighters get paid based on total # ppvs sold and UFC and showtime responsible to pay back refunds? Or does the fighters get paid after all the revenue is counted after refunds deducted.
