Joseph Parker said Ruiz hit him harder than anyone he fought - including Whyte and Joshua - so not sure how Ruiz can have no power...

AJ has always been chinny with slow recovery. If Wlad or Whyte had been able to jump on him after they hurt him - he would have lost then
If Ruiz was able to knock Joshua down four times and hurt him then Joshua doesn't stand a chance of beating Wilder unless he jumps on him at the opening bell and knocks him out. That is not likely to happen because 1) Joshua is a slow starter and 2) Wilder comes out of the corner throwing big bombs.

Its crazy how the legend of Ruiz has taken off since he beat AJ. He will most likely lose to Wilder or Fury if not AJ in the rematch.

Ruiz is pretty explosive. Unless Joshua fights safe and keeps his defence on check using his legs, he will be in trouble the second time around also.

Ruiz will be a problem for any heavyweight if he can get close enough.

He can win those fights too

Wilder was K.Od and the referee helped.him to survive

And Fury it's extremely overrated

His only good win was against Klitschko in a extremely and boring fight and he had a Draw against Wilder

Ruiz destroyed Joshua and was very competitive against Parker

This dude is a problem for anyone

Wilder has bad defense and is wild, Joshua counters can put him to sleep

Wilder was K.Od before the referee helped him

You guys are being sissy pussees. Joshua is doing the right thing, the manly thing and the smart thing. Lightning only strikes once, Ruiz ain't gonna fluke again.
It doesn't matter. He can work himself back into contention and get those belts back without taking a hell of lot of damage in order to do so.

When Oliver McCall knocked out Lennox Lewis he was the same age as AJ; 29 and it took him 3 calendar years to regain that title back but eventually he did get it back without sustaining a lot of damage in the process and at the age of 31 or 32; The same age as Ali was when he defeated Foreman in 1974.

However, Anthony Joshua was beat up in his previous fight. So time is on AJ's side and besides an extended rest will do both his body and mind some good. This way he can relax and also correct those mistakes he made against Ruiz; because let's face it. The kid is emotionally burned out.

However, rushing him in there too soon without correcting those mistakes is not only rolling the dice but is likewise both reckless and dangerous for his career, because if he loses, he will never be the same fighter again. He will be a gatekeeper for other prospects and contenders as he quietly leaves the sport.

It's now or never for him. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders to win those titles back; Which is a predicament that no human being deserves to find themselves in.
