You donít cut off the ring when youíre boxing, you do that as the aggressor.
Wrong. You cut off the ring (if you're skilled enough to do it properly) if you want to minimalize the movement of the opponent when they're being too evasive for you to get the upper hand. You don't abandon boxing technique just because you're being aggressive. Do that and you get caught and often times dropped.
