Floyd Mayweather has been taking advantage of the Mexican national holidays for years, making money by putting on his PPVs on those dates.

Golden Boy and Top Rank, who Floyd refuses to do business with, should get even with him by putting on big co-promotion PPV events on the days of Floyd's PPVs.

I think if Floyd were to fight on July 4th or some random date besides in sept and in May his numbers would take a big hit.

because he's a business man that wants to maximize his money. No doubt they are 2 big holidays and he's taking advantage of the Mexican fanbase but casuals run PPV. Mexicans are the one's who dont need the date. They are going to buy Canelo whenever he fights

Lol that's highly unlikely. Both of their last fights didn't sell half ou what maywearher sold against Marcos frikkin Maidana. If u combined their two fights, it would still be less. There's no way they outsell Floyd at this point.

Yeah but neither are as big of a draw as Floyd. But combined they will outsell Floyd vs anyone besides a fight against PAC.
Only way Floyd does over a milli PPV now is a fight with PAC, Cotto or Canelo. No way does Floyd vs anyone else do over 1 milli
