agree with above- most who saw both and knew what they were talking about picked dempsey. he must have been something else cause rocky turned out to be a pros pro. and yes, even over louis i guess due to his chin.

its like rocky was jeffries and dempsy mixed where as dempsey was a fitzsimmons and jeffries mix
the rock picked up more of jeffries atributes and dempsey picked up more of fitzsimmons
jeffries beat fitzsimmons but if fitzsimmons were the same weight as jeffries itd be a completely different story though if jeffries had the same right swing as the rock it changes the story even more.
i have no doubt that the rock could lay out dempsey with one lucky counter but the chance of that chance even occurring is low and its not likely to happen before the rock gets stopped on cuts or gets laid out him self.Comment
