Do yanks abuse their health system?

    Some patients from abroad who have rare or complicated illnesses come to the uk for surgeries and treatments because of its expertise.
    It seems to me most treatments cant wait so kind of waits and taxes we talking?

      Unfortunately there can be long waiting times and in some cases months of waiting for some surgeries. There is always private care if people have the choice though.

        Ok thanks and last questions

        Im trying to understand the following Income tax bracket from the link
        $31,581 to $150,000 ----------- 41%

        Is that basically 41% for anyone who makes that amount?

        If someone breaks a leg or has a brain tumor they are probably going to wait months for surgery?

          For Scotland, yes.


          A broken leg will be sorted out pretty quickly, it depends really on every situation, where you're living and other factors.
