Huh? Tunney certainly was the best hwt in the world 26-28 at the very least. The greatest pure boxer we have ever had.

Bruno is one the most beloved UK fighers off all time.
People still remember him to this day.

Not everything is the same as America.
Just cos you guys are quick to forget your fighters....

This ignorant yank thing is becoming a trend with you..........

What would be a real project?
Why do you hate Bruno so much? lol

      Silence, you halfwit!

He had a bum career and he was, appropriately, a bum. Why make a documentary for all six of his fans?

I do not hate Bruno, halfwit, I am indifferent to him, as anyone should be who is a boxing fan.

The OP should take note: the only forumers supporting this project are our village halfwits.

I don't understand why you placed ? after the Huh. - We agree Tunney was one of the best ever . . . but could never match Dempsey's popularity, even after he handily defeated him. As the Brit guy was arguing, being the best doesn't always get you there with the fans. With the fans boxing is not just about being the best.

Corbett beat the Great John L. and kids would actually run up to him on the street and spit at him.

Winning gets you fans no doubt but there must be a dozen different intangible reasons why fans gravitate toward a particular fighter; Tunney is a great example of being one of the very best ever and never getting 'the love' you would expect.

A Frank Bruno documentary would be embraced by his fans that's enough reason to make it.

You are incorrect regarding America; you shouldn't base America on what is said here, e.g. Ray Mancini does not belong in the HOF (he is not an ATG) but is there because he was beloved and created a dedicated fan base around him, just as Bruno did.

In short we Americans do it too, (just not these guys) hell Dempsey was never more popular than after Tunney took him to school in '26.

Boxing has never been about who is the best . . . just ask Gene Tunney and James Corbett
            Good post.

Not sure why you mentioned the Mancini thing doe.
I never even mentioned Boom Boom lol

                So I have to ask.

Are you willing to admit Chavez destroyed that bum Pernell?
