So in a few years if it becomes abundantly clear that GMOs and Round Up have screwed up our lands and our health then people will want some kind of reparations. But by then they'll be told that Monsanto no longer exists and that Bayer can't be held liable since they weren't at fault.

Monsanto did manufacture Agent Orange. That much is fact:

This unethical company has made itself rich off of poisons that have had harmful impacts on people and the environment.

Monsanto developed bovine growth hormone which gets into the milk we drink and has been linked to certain cancers.

Monsanto was a producer of aspartame. Which has links to brain tumors and birth defects.

Have they ever had a role that was morally positive? It seems the majority of what they do is profit from hurting humans or the ecosystem.
No, what they do advances humanity and presents the possiblity that we can all live as long as we want to anc with anyone we want.

Why are u against that ?

Well, the polystyrene foam that they were once a big producer of certainly seems to live as long as it wants. Not very biodegradable, is it?

The same company was involved with the manufacture of the pesticide DDT as well.

        Good old wholesome Monsanto.

Do you not live in the USA ?

The country that designed and implemented agent orange ?

Did u know the entire worlds waste for 100 years could fit In a 30 by 30 mile square 600 yard deep landfill ?

          Or do you recycle ?

Why are you deflecting from the fact that Monsanto had their hands in PCBs, rBGH, aspartame, polystyrene, and DDT? As well as dioxin? Not to mention glyphosate and GMOs.

That's quite a track record and legacy that they are going to leave behind.

            Morally neutral my ass.

They also were miserable corporate bullies. If some pollen from a soy crop blew over to a neighbouring farm and started to grow crop...or if a farmer tried to reuse Monsanto seed that didn't take during the previous grow season...Monsato would sue the farmer into bankruptcy.

                Yep.

They also displaced local varieties of cotton seed in India with their GM seeds. Since Monsanto entered the country seed prices have gone through the roof.

Farmers there who can't afford to pay have been driven to suicide.
