I was their, and he didnt knock him out cold technically but if it was a real fight he wouldn't have beat the count.

        nope,ur wrong

a "knockdown" of sorts did occur however it was mostly due to exhuaston and fighting without a clock

in a real fight situation it woulnd not have occured

Regardless of the explanation, I'm sure Broner feels differently....any real fighter would. No doubt Spence now has a mental edge over Broner.

That made him a huge favorite against Maidana.

I think people wanted Maidana to win but if where they put their money is any indication, they didn't think he had much of a chance. Broner was a 5 to 1 favorite-which is huge and the sportsbooks don't make a ton of mistakes when counting their billions.

He proved he wasn't that great but not many people thought Maidana would beat him.
There is hype and then there is over the top hype where he was being called the next Mayweather and there was nothing in the collection of his fights that indicated he was that. And as far as Reese and DeMarco, the same people also saw him defeated by Ponce De Leon and that fight in no way shape or form gave any indication that the hype was even 10% realistic. People bought one of the biggest hype jobs in boxing in the last 10 years, hook, line, and sinker....all because of Broner's attitude, arrogance, swagger, and shoulder roll, and grabbing an opponent's neck like his daddy Floyd did, among other copy-cat failures.
