LOL it's hilarious how blatantly Calzaghe is ducking Dawson and how his fans are making excuses for him. He says all Dawson did was beat an "old" Tarver? Well that old Tarver beat and knocked out that Old Jones that Calzaghe just fought. Also Dawson beat Glenn Johnson who knocked out that old Jones that Calzaghe just fought. Age has nothing to do with it, For one... Roy moved up all those divisions from Middleweight, then went to Heavyweight then back down to Light Heavy. That does a number on your body. Calzaghe stayed at Super Middleweight all these years and just now moved up in weight. And 2. Yeah Tarver might be 39 but he got in boxing real late and look at his record he doesnt have alot of fights so he's a fresher fighter. Jones fought top competition and beat legends in Toney and Hopkins. What legends in their prime did Calzaghe beat? He beat a hyped up Lacey and still harps on that fight like its the biggest accomplishment of his career. Then he beats Kessler who hasnt beat nobody and still is fighting bums. Then he fights 43 year old Hopkins who is really a Middleweight and gets knocked on his ass and in alot of peoples eyes he lost that fight. Now he fights Jones who was knocked out 2 times and was shot years ago when Glenn Johnson knocked him out. Now he's knocking Dawson for beating Tarver claiming Tarver is old??? Tarver is the one that knocked Roys ass out!! And he was very close to knocking his ass out again. Those are FACTS.

He's talkin bout Dawsons beating an old guy like Tarver? How about him beating an old Hopkins and an old Roy Jones who just came out of retirement who beat an old out of shape Trinidad? Calzaghe is one of my favorite boxer cuz of his stye but he hasn't proved **** either.

The difference is Hopkins and Jones are proven. Kessler was 39-0 and a little more proven than Chad in terms of experience. Lacy was a much bigger name than Dawson. Dawson doesn't bring very much to the table and Joe should just retire.
