      1. Loma
      2. Golovkin
      3. Crawford
      4. Canelo
      5. Usyk

Those are the clear top 5 for me.

From then on it's hard to really rank them. Guys like Thurman, Spence, Joshua and the smaller guys in no particular order.

Most lists have GGG number 1 and Canelo 5th or 6th because they think GGG beat him regardless of the official draw.I agree. Canelo deserves a high rating but GGG is a slightly better middleweight. I think Loma is number 1 now. I rank Spence above the excellent Crawford because if they fought I would bet on Spence to win. I only rank the top 10 but no heavyweight is even close to top ten on my list. These top pfp threads lead to arguments every time but every fan has a right to their own list since it's just opinion and can rarely be proven right or wrong.

I have Canelo higher than Golovkin cause I thought Canelo edged it, i had it 116-112 (8-4) for Canelo with him winning rounds 1,2,3,6,8,10,11,12

VERY good rankings. Saul and Gennady are a little high for my liking, but very comprehensive list.

People who put Gennady in Top 5 are always suspect as Gennady is hardly "the guy" in his ONLY division compared to other fighters who have succeeded across MULTIPLE divisions.

Kovalev is still a Top 10 fighter for me. He looked great in his last fight and I think he's serious about fighting his up and coming countrymen like Beterbiev, etc.

Rigondeaux not even Top 20?!? That's insane.

Some people are going to hate, but I'm still not high on Wangek

Even if you felt Gennady was a better MIDDLEWEIGHT...this is a POUND FOR POUND ranking. Fighters who compete at ONLY ONE weight class do not perform as well on POUND FOR POUND LISTS as do those who move up/down weight classes.

That is why ANY/EVERY serious POUND FOR POUND LIST has Lomachenko and Crawford as #1 and #2 (either/or). They have both DOMINATED ALL OPPOSITION at EVERY WEIGHT CLASS THEY'VE COMPETED.

Gennady squeaked past Danny Jacobs who looked HORRIBLE in his last fight and earned a DRAW against a JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT. He is a fringe Top 10 PFP fighter. Sorry, fanboy, just how these things work

You could have Canelo #2 at MW (behind Gennady) and still have Canelo higher as a Pound for Pound fighter.

Pound for Pound has very little to do with HEADS UP matches. It's about how fighters would compete at hypothetical weights.

Even if you had Gennady beating Canelo it was not a dominating fight and Gennady's mythical "power"...well, it wasn't there. Against a Junior Middle Weight. Yeah, he's nowhere near Top 5 Pound for Pound

I agree with your list Crawford is a big 140 pound guy feeding on smaller guys if he goes and beats Spence or Thurman than I would rank him at number 1

Looking at BoxRec, someone's clearly taking liberties with the calculator. There's simply no way you can put Lomachenko above Golovkin when Golovkin's never lost and has damn near 4x the fights.

I get why - they're severely overrating Gary Russell Jr. But still
