Now that Canelo is at 160 that's where all the action is heading. The top junior middles are gonna move up. Lara can move up or stay where he's and fight for a bunch of vacant belts soon.

Lara is 35, not getting any younger, not very big for a 154lber (he was 165 on fight night saturday) you have guys like Hurd who are huge, and even Julian Williams weighed 5lbs heavier then Lara for his fight (170) on fight night. He's got great skills, not a huge following, a style many dislike, and PBC is loaded at 154lbs atm. Haymon can make things happen for him at 154, if he were to move up to 160 he would not be able to get a significant fight and even if he does he would be at a huge disadvantage weight wise.
So no, it is not strictly based off of "that logic."

If he wants to salvage his career, he must get comfortable throwing shots that arent straights or jabs......Once Hurd started to pump the range finder to throw off Lara timing and distance the counters stopped coming, and once Hurd started getting close unscathed around 6-7 I literally saw Hurd and Lara chest to chest in the clinch and Lara stood there 25-30 sec without throwing one damn punch as he as he really only wants to throw straights....
He has a amatuer style and he hasnt had the right trainer to show him not only how to score points, but to put his shots together and score knockdowns an kos had Lara simple followed up with one shot on some of those counters he might of dropped Hurd
