Hearn: We Sent Wilder A Improved Offer With A 2 Way Rematch Clause But They Wont Meet

Eddie Hearn confirmed in his latest interview that he responded to Shelly who asked for a “REAL” offer before meeting up with Hearn. He has now sent a new offer and fixed all the points Shelly had an issue with previously such as a 2 way rematch clause which he has now included. He confirmed the offer is much improved with a guarantee plus percentage split (Rumored $20mil guaranteed + 35% PPV split).

Shelly responded to the new offer saying he will not meet Hearn as he is busy. As someone who manages Wilder career, his sole job is to manage Wilder future. He has no other fighter yet he claims to be too busy?! The press tour has ended so he should have plenty of time for a coffee to make the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world said Hearn.

Hearn who has many fighters regularly meets other people to secure the future of all his fighter. He also stated that a fight this big takes months to finalise therefore waiting till December is silly. With regards to the ticket sales selling 1mil in 25min, Hearn stated is AJ didn’t sell at least 5mil within the first 10mins for his fights then he’d be disappointed.

The question is Hearn going to let Joshua fight on Showtime because Showtime isn’t giving Wilder up. They have invested to much time and money into Wilder and they won’t let him fight on DAZN.
