Both laughable lopsided mismatches, but which was the bigger circus?

Loma literally looked like a GIANT fighting an ant so I'll go with that one.

Rigondeaux went right back down to 122 after the fight and Lomaechenko went to 135.

Mikey is fighting again at 147 in his next fight. I think that's a good indication there.

Loma vs. Rigo by far. Bigger physical mismatch and to make matters worse with the much smaller boxer being past his prime and rusty as well. A boring and meaningless exhibition bout.

Mikey only had the size working against him.

LOL at people calling Loma - Rigo a "circus fight", a fight that many people were clamoring and egging Loma to take when people thought Rigo was a threat at the time. But now, because of how badly Loma schooled Rigo you guys are now trying to dismiss this fight by calling it a "circus fight" even though you guys never called it as one when the fight was first announced. Attempting to become a five division champ is a far bigger undertaking. Pac is the only fighter to hold titles ranging from featherweight to welterweight (and then some). Mikey really has no business there as he looks soft and on the small size even at 140. Meanwhile, becoming champ in a third division isn't uncommon these days, it's not so common to skip a division to get it done but it's happened. Also keep in mind Loma and Rigo won their first titles only one division apart.

Spence/Garcia was for sure and by miles! They flooded the tv with ads. Then the whole card was full of mismatches, showcases and predetermined outcomes.

Not many predicted Mikey to win, while there were many picking Rigo. He had the chance to make the fight at 126 and because his demands, the fight ended up at 130. The size didn't have as much to do with how the fight played out as much as some people might have you think. Rigo just went up against a fellow southpaw who knew how to take his play away.

Both fights were dumb but most folks forget that Mikey was a former featherweight who was fighting a big welterweight. Fight made no sense.

What? Going into the fight, Rigo was considered a top p4p elite, with better speed, and his power was gonna take Loma’s jaw off.

The next morning Rigo became a rusty, old crippled man....
