On average its properly similar if we were just measuring punch strength. But I think technique & accuracy would make a boxer a more successful power puncher.

It’s a dumb comparison. MMa fighters deal with a lot more. All boxers use is their hands and all they have to worry about is hands, so obviously anything involving just the hands will favor the boxer.
