was just reading about the shroud of turin the other day, interesting stuff. apparently radiocarbon testing dates the cloth back to the medieval era, which implies forgery, but the image on it can only be replicated with modern light technology. kind of eerie.

many people from the middle east could pass off as white. red and blonde hair aren't uncommon traits there due to invasions and migration patterns. the greeks and the romans were already messing about in the area way before jesus' time so i think it's possible.
