Pressure & body shots or counters.

If you made this thread a few months ago they'd all be crying about weight. But now they aren't bringing it up anymore. I wonder why?

Loma took a shot at stopping him in the last round and came close!
Other than that round he fought tentatively and got out hustled too.
He was to cautious through the first 10 rounds when he stepped up the pace and the volume he did fine.
Give Salido credit he simply out worked the kid.

The low blows didn't effect Loma's performance only one or two were driven into the cup the others were glancing and didn't effect him negatively.

As much as Loma has improved, I still believe a fighter like Salido would beat Loma today.

Weight, low blows, inexperience. And Loma still landed more and lost a close SD. If proper point deductions would have taken place for low blows, Loma would have won anyways.

Salido was just the better man that night.

Lomachenko had no answers to anything Salido did. They all got a wake up call that night it made Lomachenko the great fighter he is right now.

Salido only beat Lomachenko on paper.

He should have had at least 2 points deducted if not disqualified. Also Loma had him figured out by the end of the fight and proved himself to be the better fighter. Salido said "no mas" when asked about rematch despite being offered career highest payday.

Yes. It's hilarious how people ignore that. Also if the ref started deducting points Rolando would have to fight differently.

Loma just wasn't ready. No matter how skilled you are, ams are different than pros period. This Loma would knock that Salido out. No doubt in my mind. Just look at the difference in confidence.

It's because Loma was in the amateurs forever and fought like an amateur back then. He expected everything to be a points trade and for his opponent to fight like a kid. He lost and got a well-needed welcoming to the pros. He's a better fighter because of Salido.
