After an hour I was about to turn it off. Why do movies nowadays spend so much time on mundane stuff that really only needs to be a few minutes? It was good in the end but nothing I'd regret not watching.

there are 2 types of superheroes; those with power and those without. the 2 should never meet. yeah, the superhero realm is one that defies logic. i know, its supposed to. when you match a very smart and ''powerful'' mortal with an alien with almost unlimited power, you have to go way beyond the ''use your imagination'' angle.

the conundrum with characters being so powerful, you have to make equally powerful villains to keep things interesting. the bad guys BM faces, SM would blast them with a super sonic punch that would obliterate them. in a fight between the 2, kryptonite or not, there is no suit BM could make that could withstand a punch from a SM @ 20% strength. whatever SM hits SHOULD be smithereened.

anyway, they had to make an already ridiculous genre even more so to make this ridiculous story line work. WW was absolutely useless here (as are all female superheroes) and eisenberg did a poor heath ledger imitation. despite the flaws, i enjoyed it for what it was.
