  • Ring Magazine ''Aaron Pryor>>>Jones Jr, Hearns, Mclarnin, Burley, Frazier.

Ring Magazine stated in 2002 that Aaron Pryor was a greater fighter than Roy Jones Jr, Thomas Hearns, Jimmy Mclarnin, Charley Burley, Joe Frazier, Bernard Hopkins, Carmon Basilio, and Jose Napoles.

    Thoughts?

    Agree, disagree????????????

        Hearns is easily above Pryor.

He won titles from 147 to 175, beat guys like Cuevas, Duran, Benitez, and Hill. Often with different styles too, bombing out guys with power or using very skilled boxing.

I didn't like how low they had Hearns (and how high they had Pryor).

Disagree. I think they all should rate above Pryor.

You could maybe argue Pryor above Basilio and Frazier.

I feel all fighters should be ranked ahead of Pryor except Hopkins at that time.. Hopkins should be ahead aswell by now.

Disagree. Pryor might be above Frazier but those two are similar in how short their careers were, that's the only reason. Pryor might have been better than some of them, but we never found out.
