I'm moving to the Carribbean Netherlands. I've been there many times.

LIGHT YEARS better than the United States.

After about a week you will be turned down for a job or rejected by some girl and start calling for "radical solutions to this broken system of oppression".

There's no escape man. You could live on the moon or at the bottom of the ocean and after a week, same result.

Only when you sit there punching yourself in the face and calling yourself dirty names will you achieve salvation. Salvation through truth.

The Dutch are extremely smart and practical. They realize that their language is very difficult too learn so speaking English makes sense as a way to communicate with nonDutch speakers.

If you want to settle there, you have to learn the language. Simple as that.

And yeah it sounds quite difficult, but it probably isn't. It's close to german and English. French is more difficult.

And they probably speak better English than we do so you dont ever have to worry about learning their impossible language. LOL.

They do, but Dutch is actually pretty easy once you get past the slightly odd pronunciation, I found I could understand a lot of what was going on with English and a smattering of German... the two langauges it's most closely related to. I think what most people are thrown by is their spellings, but you just gotta wrap your head around the fact that a written language is merely a way of representing the spoken word and the mapping of phonemes to written symbols can be done in many ways even when using the same set of symbols (alphabet).
